MANAGEMENT / SUPERVISION

All Security Officers need the back-up of professional management and supervision. Security 4U operates a 24 hour control room / communication facility and Area Supervision from our offices. 

The Duty Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring that each assignment is fully manned by trained Security Officers at all times. Control Room staff provide advice and communication between the Security Officers on-site, the Duty Manager and the Client. As an aid to the Health & Safety of our staff, and as an aid to supervision, the Control Room monitors hourly check calls from each assignment during the silent hours, and appropriate logs are retained. 

Our team of Area Supervisors provide round the clock supervision, and visit every assignment during each shift. During the visit, the Area Supervisor will ensure that Security Officers are well turned out, have the correct equipment for specific duties and are performing their tasks correctly. Area Supervisors are responsible for replacing uniform, site equipment and stationery. 

Mobile Patrol Officers and Area Supervisors are equipped with Mobile Telephones for constant communication to the Control Centre, Duty Manager, Assignments and each other. 

Supervision of Security 4U operations is not limited to regular visits only, in addition to these; multi-manned assignments have a dedicated Assignment Supervisor and / or a Senior Officer priced into the quoted rate. Such assignments continue to be externally supervised by Area Supervisors. 

Security 4U also operates a Duty Manager system, which consists of a Manager on a call-out rota, to provide emergency advice and management visits at irregular hours. Each visit by either Management or Area Supervisors is recorded in the assignment log records, and a report submitted to Senior Management.
